Hitler

Imaginary Hitler doing the Emotion Elevator process

  • I am furious with the Jews!
  • Mein Fuhrer! You are indeed furious! (accepting  the emotional  charge)
  • Indeed!
  • What is the reason(ing)? (becoming aware of the thought fueling the emotion)
  • The jews threaten all the society, Germany and germans. As well as mentally retarded, gypsies and the Slavs! The future of the aryan race is threatened.
  • How and where in your body do you feel it? (reducing the emotion to a feeling in the body)
  • My whole body is bustling hot of rage.
  • And what would you like to do? (becoming aware of the desire fueled by the thought/emotion)
  • Kill them! Kill them all! Save the pure ones!

-  Ok. Let us do it - but only in our imagination. Let us take a deep breath, hold it and during that one breath imagine that we kill as many of these threatening beings as we ever can. We can kick and punch the air as hard as we can. And the moment we cannot hold our breath any more, we let it all go. (reducing the emotional charge through restricted allowance of the physical need to attack and fight)

  • What emotion is there under the rage? (deepening the process, becoming aware of the next emotion)
  • Fear, I am totally horrified about the thought that they will come and take everything that is important to us!
  • How and where in your body do you feel it? (reducing the emotion to a feeling in the body)
  • In my stomach. My whole stomach is tense.
  • And what do you want to do Mein Fuhrer? (becoming aware of the charged desire)
  • To eliminate those pigs, those conspirators, the traitors of Life!

-  Ok. Let us do it - but only in our imagination. Let us take a deep breath, hold it and during that one breath imagine that we kill as many of these threatening beings as we ever can. We can kick and punch the air as hard as we can. And the moment we cannot hold our breath any more, we let it all go. (reducing the charge through limited allowance of the desire and the bodily need to fight)

  • And what emotion is there under that horror? (deepening the process, becoming aware of next emotional charge)
  • Sadness, very deep sadness.
  • And how and where in your body do you feel it? (reducing the emotion to a feeling in the body)
  • It is everywhere! This horrible sorrow is everywhere. The sorrow is constricting my throat.
  • And what would you like to do? (becoming aware of the desire fueled by the thought/emotion)
  • I do not know, just cry.

-  Ok. Let us do it - but only in our imagination. Let us take a deep breath, hold it and during that one breath imagine that we cry. We put more tension to our throats and pretend that we cry.  The moment we cannot hold our breath any more, we let it all go. (reducing the charge through limited allowance of the need)

  • What emotion is there under the sorrow? (deepening the process)
  • No emotion. Total emptiness. How can there be such an emptiness in me?

(the charge is gone, body is now in zero zone, ready to be charged again)

-   Let us take one more breath, hold it as long as we can and tense our whole body as hard as we can. The moment we cannot hold our breath any more, we let even the emptiness go. (charging the body with peace)

  • What emotion is there under the emptiness? (deepening the process)
  • Peace. Total, deep peace, which I have never experienced before.
  • Let us enjoy this little paradise for a while. Put your hand on your heart (anchoring the Peace State)

-  When you now, from that state of peace, think about what you wanted to do to jews…what do you think about your desires and plans? (redirecting the future)

  • I think it is totally unnecessary. The world cannot be saved in that way. It would only make an eternal wound that can never be healed. It would only continue the tradition of killing. Nothing new would be born. And besides…to kill all those people is not in the core of german nature. I would only waste everything that our nation and people is all about.
  • So what do you want to do now?
  • I do not know. I just want to be in this peace for a while and then have another thought.
